Really big print from long time ago

This is a linocut I finished soon after moving to Seattle. It's 3 feet by 5 feet, and since I don't have a press, it takes about 4 hours to pull a print from this block (with a spoon!).

Ongoing collaborative effort w/ Jim the Glass Guy

My friend Jim Miller of fireweed glass ( http://www.fireweedglass.com/ ) has been working on photosensitive glass for years. He's so driven (and awesome)!
As I understand, he's one of the only artists working with this stuff.

He 's been kind enough to hire me to paint some designs he can use for his photo-transfer techniques that he uses.
Here's an example:

Hopefully I'll have more to post soon.

Lil' Brudder

Our Friend "The Rinz" has been accepted into veterinary school!
In case you didn't know (I didn't know) it's harder to get into veterinary school than medical school due to there being a shortage of them. Dude.
Go the Rinz.

So Brent and I decided to send her a congradulatory gift.

It had to involve candy, because everyone knows The Rinz loves candy. The Rinz also loves Strongbad, (her nickname is a nod to Strongbad's pet "the cheet"). Using these two pieces of information, we designed the perfect gift.
A stuffed one-legged dog altered to contain candy organs....aka, Lil' Brudder (he's got the heart of a champion! *sniff*)

Here's some photos of Lil' Brother being made:

No idea what "Lil Brudder" is?
